Inclusive Work Practices at Scooter’s Pizza Factory

At Scooter’s Pizza Factory we believe in work inclusion. We believe that everyone has the right to a job opportunity. That’s why we collaborate with the Down Syndrome Association of Las Palmas and we have incorporated our team to the first student in internship of the Association. We are very happy with him, as he is a hard worker, always ready to help and learn.

What are inclusive labour practices?

At Scooter’s, we believe that you can’t create an equitable society without promoting inclusion. We understand inclusion as helping people who belong to the most vulnerable groups. For this reason, we carry out inclusive work practices that allow people with different abilities to put into practice the knowledge they have learned in the workshops held by the Down Syndrome Association of Las Palmas. Thanks to these practices, these people feel useful and fulfilled, allowing them to join the labour market in the future and become financially independent.

We are delighted with our new student, we hope that he will be delighted with us too! and that this will be the beginning of a long collaboration between Scooter’s Pizza Factory and Down Syndrome Association of Las Palmas.
